Share market update: BSE Power index flat; Siemens dips 2%

NEW DELHI: The BSE Power index was trading flat in Thursday's afternoon session.

Shares of Siemens (down 2.24 per cent), Adani PowerNSE -2.87 % (down 2.21 per cent), Bharat Heavy ElectricalsNSE -2.21 % (down 1.61 per cent) and Thermax (down 1.38 per cent) were trading lower.

Tata Power Company (down 1.24 per cent), Torrent Power (down 0.90 per cent), JSW Energy (down 0.88 per cent) and Kalpataru Power Transmissions (down 0.69 per cent) too were trading with losses.


The S&P BSE Power index was trading flat at 1967.39 around 11:39 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 128.95 points at 10,989.05 while the BSE Sensex was down 431.94 points at
